I woke up screaming at 6:30 this morning. I felt the walls shaking around me, and in my disorented haze thought the world was exploding. Things had fallen off my shelves and I had been knocked out of bed, my mom was screaming from downstairs and I could hear my dad stomping out of his room. I took a deep breath, and thought maybe our house had been struck by lightening during the storm.

But ooooooooooh no...

A tree in my front yard was knocked down with the ensuing winds! It fell against my side of the house, broke, fell, and found its way in to my living room. Everything seemed ok though after we all calmed down. Damage can be fixed, atleast everyone was ok. My mom left for work and I made a pot of coffee.

I was feeling pretty good until my dad showed me the pictures he took for the insurance company. Not only had he tree hit right outside my bedroom window, not only had it broken through right below me, but there was a branch through the wall in my bedroom! Right under my bedroom window, right above the HEAD OF MY BED!

My head was inches away, maybe not even, from where the branch broke through. I hadn't noticed it before because my PILLOWS WERE OVER IT.

SO yea, that's my exciting morning. Being the crazy person that I am, I took a few pictures myself that could be artistic, maybe photojournalism. "Shattered Glass" and "Art from Calamity"

I thought I had problems with headaches before....
